Using secure online technology, telephone and video calls, we can work together efficiently without the need for regular visits to an accountant’s office. You will always deal directly with me, Brendan Johnson, an ACCA-qualified accountant with over 30 years of experience.

1. Initial discussion

We start with a telephone or video call to discuss your circumstances, understand your requirements and agree the services you need.

2. Secure document exchange

Through our secure Client Portal, you can upload documents, access financial paperwork, review and electronically sign accounts, tax returns and other documents. Signed documents and supporting tax computations remain available through the portal for future reference.

Our secure Client Portal can be accessed through a web browser or the free Engager mobile app, available for iPhone, iPad and Android devices. The app allows you to view and download documents, upload paperwork, complete forms and electronically sign documents directly from your mobile device.

We can discuss your accounts and tax affairs by telephone, Microsoft Teams or email.

For clients using our payroll services, a separate secure payroll portal is available through our payroll service provider. This allows authorised users to access and download employee payslips and payroll reports online.

3. Accounts and tax preparation

I prepare your accounts, tax returns and other agreed work, keeping you informed throughout the process.

When your personal or company tax returns are ready, I explain the tax liability in my accompanying email and provide the relevant tax computations. Copies of the computations and supporting documents are also retained in your secure Client Portal for future reference.

This allows you to review your financial information, understand your tax obligations and access important documents whenever required.

4. Ongoing personal support

You continue to deal directly with me for advice and assistance. Whether by telephone, email or video call, professional support is available without the need for regular face-to-face meetings.
